- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and client visits.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in line with company policies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
- Provide accurate information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage order processing from quotation to delivery in coordination with production and logistics teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within a plastics manufacturing or industrial products company
- Experience selling plastic tanks, piping, or construction materials will be a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of the Nairobi and regional market dynamics
